The Chairman, Mr. Gurjeet Singh Johar of C & C Constructions Ltd., a listed Company, is involved in the Infrastructure Sector in India and Overseas. He is very actively involved with a number of industry associations namely Vice President of the Project Export Promotion Council, Member of the Working Committee of Construction Federation of India and member of the Core group of the CII on Infrastructure and Highways. He is a Chartered accountant by profession.
Shabadjit SinghBawa did his Masters in Business Administration specializing in Finance from VIT University, Bangalore. He is also a certified Supply Chain Management Consultant from SAP. Presently he has set up an Education company. He has so far worked for Phoenix Lamps handling Finance at their Dehradun unit and then in the Noida branch as an ERP Consultant. He also worked for Matchworkers International, UK.
Ravi has been engaged with educational product services and operating businesses within the educational sector for over a decade. In his last assignment he was the President (Joint Ventures and Partnerships) at Educomp Solutions Limited, responsible for educational JVs and partnerships in addition to running the Millennium Schools across the country.
Prior to this assignment Ravi was the Regional Head and Country Director, City and Guilds (South Asia) for approximately 10 years where he was responsible for managing all City and Guilds Educational Products and Services in addition to running the operational business across the country and within neighbouring countries in the SAARC region. (City and Guilds is the largest Vocational and Technical Training and Certification Awarding body in the world, registered and headquartered in the United Kingdom).
Ravi has been engaged actively in structuring connections between Education, Skills, Employability and Employment.
Over the last decade or so Ravi has been engaged with Governments within India and in neighbouring countries, with industry and with private enterprise employers to collaborate sectorally in the development of employer led education and employee driven qualification requirements. Over the last few years he has been engaged with advising Director General of Employment and Training (DGE&T) in the Ministry of Labour in the design of schemes, skill development initiatives and design, development and implementation of the Modular Employment Scheme introduced by the Union Ministry of Labour. He has been involved with the national consultation for the National Training Policy in 2009 and engaged in the policy design for implementation of a Comprehensive National Vocational and Educational Qualification Frameworks.
